Gaming Performance and Win 11

I'm now getting Windows 11 pushed at me. If you're a gamer, would you upgrade to Win 11? I heard that there were performance issues playing games with the earlier versions of Win 11. So my question is, have those been fixed with the latest rev of Win 11? I haven't even gone to Win 10 version 22H2 because of complaints of performance issues in games with that rev.

Still running windows 10 myself, but I just recently got the offer to upgrade to 11. Debating if I want to or not, 10 is working fine and will still be supported for quite a while. I'll probably try to do a clean install of 11 when I do get around to it because there is quite a few years worth of accumulated software remnants in my user folders from stuff that I will never use again so it would be nice to clean house at the same time.

No issues with 11 except some older Win98 games run a tad slower.

Thanks everyone. I'm probably going to stay on 10 for a little longer and perform a clean install of 11 when the time comes and I have the time. It's a major undertaking. How about installing Win 10 22H2 Feature update? I heard that one has performance issues for gaming as well. The most recent update to Win 10, 21H2 (KB4023057), started causing my old R.A.T. 7 MMO mouse to freeze 20 minutes after the computer was booted. Very inconvenient in a game. I was using the Windows HID driver since I wasn't using all the other buttons, but I had to resort to installing a really old Saitek driver from the original CD for it to function. All the newer drivers out there for this mouse are unsigned and won't install. Of course the company went under a few years back, no longer supports the product and is now owned by some Hong Kong Chinese conglomerate that's selling new versions of the same mouse. I'm also sure this will no longer work at all once Win 11 is my OS.

11 is basically 10 with cosmetic updates.
