D2X-XL on Linux

First, thank you to the creators of D2X-XL. It amazes me that anyone would want to spend the time and energy porting this old game to Windows, much less Linux. Your labour of love is much appreciated.

I have D2X-XL installed and working on my SuSE 9.2 PC, and I am enjoying it. I do have a couple of questions however.

Is it possible to play Descent 1 levels on D2X-XL for Linux? I I have checked the Play D1 Missions box, as well as copied my Descent 1 files into my D2X-XL folder, but no joy.

Also, MIDI doesn't seem to be working. I can play MIDI in other programs, but not D2X-XL

I will check the D1 mission issue and the Midi problem.
