Nice...wishing bad on total strangers from a natural disaster...very classy. 100%. Your average MAGA chud isn't without agency, but they're ultimately the useful idiots of the financial interests that fund the right wing media they consume. For most, their biggest fault is believing that liars are ...

We provide them the material support to turn those ideals into actions. We defend those actions politically and militarily. Are you confident they're just the ideals of Netanyahu and Likud?Tunnelcat wrote:the U.S. certainly has no control over Bibi and the Likud Party's ideals.

Right off hand, how about creating the industrial might to defeat the Nazis. I think Russian winters, millions of Soviets, and Hitler's warped view of reality that didn't match actual reality did more to break the Nazis than our ownership class, who weren't always without Nazi sympathies. What even is "rich?" 10 million dollars in wealth? 100 million? A billion?
What benefits to society are achieved by allowing an individual to accumulate 1 billion dollars in wealth as opposed to, say, 100 million dollars? It's an honest question, because I can't think of any.

I don't have an issue with what Vance did in the military. There's a whole lotta non-combat jobs that still need to be done and he did one. Great.
But he's an absolute douche bag for promoting the stolen valor BS, and I'd say it's far more illustrative of his "honor" than his service.

It's all wound up in their preoccupation with trans people, and Walz's acceptance that trans people actually exist and his willingness to make accommodations. Just basic "try not to be an ★■◆●" type stuff that the right is increasingly disconnected from.
